Fusible Warm Fleece 1 combines polyester quilt batting with the reliable fusible Steam-A-Seam, making it simple to finish sewing, quilting, and crafting projects quickly. There’s no need for basting spray—this fusible fleece bonds backing and lining fabrics with just heat, helping you avoid fabric folds while quilting or stitching. Complete your projects faster and with clean results.

Made from 100% polyester fiber and manufactured in the USA, this 6 oz per square yard fleece resists shrinking and stays soft after machine washing and drying. The one-sided fusible surface feels slightly rough and fuses with a gentle pass of a steam iron. Warm Fusible Fleece 1 is extremely versatile in that a quick, gentle pass of your steam iron will create a permanent soft, pliable bond ideal for soft books but the more steam and pressure you apply makes it very rigid for stand-up totes! It is always best to pre-wash fabrics and heavier fabrics will require more time to fuse.

Pre-Wash & Care Instructions:
Note that pre-washing is optional. Fusible Warm Fleece 1 will not shrink.
To pre-wash (if desired): hand soak in mild detergent for 20 minutes, rinse thoroughly, gently squeeze (do not wring), and lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low.
Once quilted, machine wash & dry as usual.

Fusible Warm Fleece 1 Instructions:

Set your iron for the type of fabric you will fuse – steam on.
Lay the Warm Fusible Fleece 1 fusible side up on your ironing surface and place your fabric right side up on top making sure the Warm Fusible Fleece 1 is not exposed to your iron.
Gently pass the steam iron in one direction across the layers from one side to the other lifting the iron as you come to the end and replacing at the starting side again slightly overlapping making sure all areas have been steamed. If a soft fuse is what you need, you’re done!
Repeat step 3 with pressure as many times as needed to reach your desired rigidity.
