Lite Steam-A-Seam 2 is the incomparable new lightweight fusible web from the Warm Company.

Like the original, Lite Steam-A-Seam 2 has a pressure sensitive adhesive that allows for a temporary hold to your materials. There is no pressing until your entire appliqué is in place. The lite Steam-A-Seam is 1/2 the weight of the regular versions.

Love Lite Steam-A-Seam2!!! I need more to finish several projects. Can you tell me when this product will be available in stores? It is wonderful for applique.

When will your new product be available? I'm running low.

Thank you for your post! It is impossible to establish a time frame for retail sale until we are in production. We are in trials now with a variety of specialty papers necessary for the manufacture of SAS and we are reconfiguring our line to allow for the new papers (temperature and moisture for example effect the paper and web differently). We have had positive results and feel the process and recipe are close to where they must be to release for retail sale. Once we are satisfied, the paper will have to be manufactured and delivered to our two plants. Then we will need time to build an inventory and distribute it nationwide. This process is easily 3 - 4 months best case scenario. But don't start the clock until we have determined the exact paper needed to make SAS. That's why there are no dates on the posts. We are working on it every day. Thank you for your patience!

Hi -- when will Steam A Seam II Lite become available -- just read all of the above, but there is no indication of when it will be available again -- desperately in need

Lite steam-a-seam 2 is GREAT. But where can I buy it In the 25 yd. roll. I use it for quilting and church banners

PLEASE, PLEASE hurry! This is the only product worth using. I would be lost without Steam a Seam Lite.

I think this is the best product ever! I am eagerly anticipating your "come back."

Have used this product exclusively since it came out for my projects as well as for classes that I teach. I got a couple bolts before you stopped producing. Hopefully I can make it thru this drought, but happy to see you are working on a solution.

I love Steam-A-Seam 2 lite for all my appliques. It is by far the best product out there and I have never had a problem with it. I hope to see it back on the shelves soon as I have several projects in mind to do. In the meantime I have tried other products and they do not work at all for me. Please hurry. Thanks...:)

I teach and have just exhausted my supply of Steam- A-Seam Lite and really don't know what to do. For a wall-hanging, I find the regular Steam-A-Seam works just fine, but for a quilt, it just isn't lite enough! I know you are going as fast as you can to fix the issues.....but PLEASE hurry!

I to am a big fan of Steam a Seam 2 Lite. I have tried other fusibles and do NOT like them. Is there a way to get notice when Steam a Seam 2 Lite is available again? I do not know what problems you are trying to fix, because I have found it to be consistently the best product out there.

I too love this product and use it for all my appliqué projects. It is so reliable and easy to use, and I feel confident that my work will stay in place beautifully while I work.

i also love this product, and i was able to find some sheet packages off of amazon, but will soon run out and will not be able to finish my project. I hope this is resolved soon and so i will be able to finish. I prefer to use the by the yard product. Thank you

-Victoria, Thank you so much for your support. We realized just fixing every little problem that came along wasn't cutting it so we decided to make the tough decision to stop production until we resolve all the issues. When Steam-A-Seam comes back, it will be best once again!

Steam-a-seam 2 lite is my favorite fusible. I have heard there is a shortage and I hope very much this is taken care of before I run out of my current supply. Cheers.

- Thank you for your post! We did run into a manufacturing issue, however, we took the opportunity to make improvements to the Steam-a-Seam products. It will still be the same fusible web you know and love, the only difference will be the paper. We worked with a paper manufacturer and created a new paper that works well with our fusible web and the pressure sensitive adhesive. With the Steam-a-Seam double sided web, lite and regular, we had manufacturing issues with delamination and inconsistent tackiness. This will be a thing of the past now and you would even be able to keep unused scraps- now you can stick the release paper back on to conserve the product's tack. A new page will be made available on our website for more information. Please check back with us soon!
